    - The game was played at Norwich's second ground the "Nest", Rosary Road. This was built in an old quarry and one end was a cliff face from which supporters stood to watch the games!

    - The cup and medals were presented by the Lord Mayor of Norwich, George White. Admission prices were centre stand seats 3/-, new stand seats 2/6, enclosure 2/-, ground admission 1/- (boys 6d). Gross gate receipts totalled £622 15/11 and total match receipts were £644 12/-. Liverpool’s expenses were £82 17/9 and £349 8/4 was raised for the charity. [The ‘Pink ’Un’ originally gave the attendance as 10,280, but later said the correct attendance given by the club’s secretary was 10,235. Some records of the competition give 10,323. City’s turnstile records show 10,122 attending.] The match ball was auctioned and was to be provided to the successful bidder after it had been cleaned and autographed by the players. However, it was destroyed in a fire at the premises of Charles Willmott, a member of the competition committee.
