  • After the match George Allan, John Walker and Hugh Morgan were seen on Oakfield Road by a policeman arguing at midnight, leading to Allan being arrested for 'Language likely to lead to a breach of the peace'.When Walker and Morgan tried to assist they were arrested for 'obstructing a constable.' At a packed magistrates court on 19th November the charges were dismissed but the players were advised to go to bed earlier in future. Supporters who left the courtroom in rowdy fashion then had to be reminded they were not on a football ground.
