Liverpool eyes Kimmich move

As long as Trent Alexander-Arnold hasn’t renewed his contract, his future with the Reds remains uncertain. The talented right-back might be a Liverpool academy graduate and boyhood fan, but his game finesse might be better appreciated in La Liga. Now the Premier League outfit is reportedly considering a move for Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich as Alexander-Arnold’s replacement. Versatile Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki fits well in Liverpool’s transfer market plans as they are unlikely to get an elite, world-class player like Salah. Cherki is a bargain option for the Reds, although his value increased recently after improving significantly this season. The debt-ridden Lyon have been hesitant to trade Cherki this January, but they might change their mind should Liverpool formalize their interest with an official offer.
