All this has resulted in Liverpool being the darlings of several betting sites. In 2024, betting is done mostly online. The best part about this is that people can wager anonymously using Bitcoin, and the same thing applies to online casinos. For example, some of the best anonymous crypto casinos allow fast and easy transactions, all the while keeping everything private.
In a similar fashion, punters can bet on Liverpool using Bitcoin, or similar cryptocurrencies. As well they should, as Liverpool tends to be the odds on favorite to win more often than not. However, does that mean that Liverpool stands a chance of claiming the 2024/2025 English Premier League title? Well, that is a tough question to answer.
The latest iteration of the English Premier League only recently took off, so it is difficult to say who has the best chance. Obviously, most people are placing their money on Manchester City, who’ve already swept in the four matches that they’ve been involved in. City has won the past four tournaments, a first in the EPL.
However, apart from Manchester City, the last club to win an EPL game was Liverpool. In 2019/20, Liverpool beat out Manchester City by quite a large margin, winning 32 out of the 38 total matches, whereas City only won 26. A lot of Reds fans remember this day, and believe that Liverpool has a chance to win out again.
As things stand right now, Liverpool is ranked fourth, which is quite impressive, as it means they are in the top five. Ahead are Manchester City, who’ve won four games so far, Arsenal and Newcastle, who’ve won three. Liverpool themselves have also won three games out of four. However, the difference is that Arsenal and Newcastle don’t have a loss under their belt, whereas the Reds do.
It is also worth mentioning; Liverpool have taken down Manchester United, Brentford, and Ipswich. Their latest loss, on 14 September, 2024, came at the hands of Nottingham Forest. Certainly, a noteworthy win for the Tricky Trees, but a devastating loss for Liverpool. We shall see if the Reds can recover on 21 September, in a game against Bournemouth.
