If Mo Salah Left This Season, How Many Records Will He Have Broken During His Liverpool Career?

If Mo Salah ends up leaving Liverpool this season, he will have broken several records since he joined the club in 2017, which we will be taking a closer look at right here.

How many club records will Mo Salah have broken at Liverpool if he leaves this season?

During his spell at English Premier League side Liverpool, Mo Salah has won every major cup there is to win, plus he has also broken several club and Premier League records during his glittering Liverpool career.

He remains one of the most bet-on players at today’s most trusted online bookmakers, such as the official red32 sport website, and if he does decide to leave Liverpool this season, here are nine records he will always be remembered for:

1. In 2021, after netting a goal against Norwich City, he became the first Premier League player to score in the first five opening matches
2. Throughout the 2017/18 Premier League campaign, he picked up three Premier League Player of the Month awards – more than any other player in a single season
3. In 2017/18, he scored 25 goals with his left foot – more than any other left-footed player has achieved in a single season
4. Also, in the same season, he scored a total of 32 goals, making him the highest goalscorer in a 38-game season
5. Also in the same season, he held the record for most games scored in in a Premier League season
6. He was also first player to outscore three entire Premier League teams in one season
7. From March 2019 until February 2020, he was part of the team that won 33 consecutive games – more than any other team in Premier League history
8. He was the first ever Premier League player to score a hat-trick against United at Old Trafford (Oct. 2021)
9. In the same season, he scored a further two goals against United, meaning he became the first player to score five goals against the Red Devils in a single Premier League season

Where are Liverpool in the league?

Liverpool are currently in third place in the Premier League with 10 points after 4 games played. They are below second-place Spurs with 10 points and league leaders Manchester City with 12 points.

Their most recent win in the league came against Aston Villa on September 3rd when they won 3-0 at home. In their previous game, they came back from 1-0 down against Newcastle United to win 2-1, thanks to late goals from Darwin Nunez.

They also beat Bournemouth 3-1 at Anfield, and in their first game of the season, they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Chelsea.

What are Liverpool’s chances of winning the league?

Liverpool currently have an 11.10% implied probability rate of winning the league outright, which equates to 8/1 (fractional odds), +800 (American/moneyline odds), or 9.00 (decimal odds).

The current odds-on favourites to win the Premier League are Manchester City (2/5, with a 71.40% implied probability rate), and the second odds-on favourites are Arsenal at 7/1 (12.50% implied probability rate).

If Salah does leave Liverpool this season, where will he go?

If he does leave Liverpool this season, there’s a good chance he will go to one of the Saudi Pro League clubs because of the sheer amount of money Liverpool could make from the transfer.

According to reports, Al-Ittihad has offered an incredible £215 million to get their hands on the prolific striker! Only time will tell whether he will stay at Liverpool or continue his career elsewhere.
