Liverpool eager to agree to £88.5million fee—Streamlining moves to gain signature

The midfielders for Liverpool struggled against the Cherries, proving once again how much they need someone like Jude Bellingham.

The Three Lions star is set to depart Borussia Dortmund after the season, and the major contenders are the Reds and Real Madrid, according to today's edition of AS.

The Los Blancos are reportedly sending envoys to meet with the player's representation to discuss the transfer, as a reputable Spanish media outlet reported.

Still, Liverpool is moving rapidly to secure Bellingham's services before the summer transfer window closes.

The Madrid-based source claims that rumors out of Germany indicate that the Merseysiders are in a strong position to lure the England international.

European champions still hope to sign the 19-year-old because he has not yet made a final decision.AS believe both Liverpool and Madrid are willing to accept a sum of over £88.5million (100 million euros) to capture the teenage phenomenon.

The Spanish powerhouses might potentially offer BvB a total of EUR 140 million (EUR 100 million in cash and EUR 40 million in extras).

After declining to meet with the club's management to discuss a contract extension, the report claims that Bellingham has chosen to quit the Bundesliga club after the season.

Dortmund, with whom the 22-time all-star has won the DFB-Pokal, is a heavy favorite to win the Bundesliga this year. Thus far this season, the former Birmingham City midfielder has contributed 16 goals in all competitions.
