What are the odds of Liverpool winning the EPL title?

The EPL football league is one of the most exciting leagues in the world comprising worldwide known teams like Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal just to mention a few. Other emerging teams like Leicester City, Everton and the newly bought team of Newcastle United.

Established teams like the clubs from Manchester together with Chelsea and Liverpool, who have had a string of successes during these last decades can expect harder challenges from less known teams like Newcastle with the new owner injecting millions of pounds aimed at revamping the team with world class players from around the globe. Other teams like Leicester City have already shown their class by winning the title a few years ago.

The current season looks to bring excitement into our living rooms with the teams from Manchester and Chelsea playing open and entertaining football not just in England but also in European competitions. According to the bookies, Liverpool is now 1/10 to finish in the top four of the EPL.

Finishing in the top four of the EPL does not necessarily mean that Liverpool should rest on their laurels of winning the EPL title this season. With players like Lukaku, De Bruyne, Ronaldo, Sterling and Rashford vying for the teams from Manchester and Chelsea, Liverpool is facing a fierce up-hill battle to regain the EPL crown. The Merseyside teams can also pride themselves with world-class football players like Salah, Van Dijk, Alexander Arnold and Mane hence their chances of finishing at the top of the competition. They can also rely on the vast experience and tactical mind of their manager Jurgen Klopp.

Looking back at the club’s history with nineteen league titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups and fifteen FA Community Shields as well as Merseyside to be one of the top contenders to win the EPL this season. Most online bookmakers out there predict either Liverpool or Manchester City to win the football league. This will heavily depend on how the Reds will handle the stress and pressure of playing in the European Champions League, the EPL and the ancillary competitions in England. It also depends on how the players cope with the pressure and injuries as well as how other contenders for the title manage their loaded domestic and European fixtures.

To give an inkling of what Liverpool has to face in the coming days, they have to play Atletico Madrid and Porto in the Champions League and Watford and Manchester United in the EPL. The last fixture with Manchester United is crucial and not limited to gaining the three points but most importantly to satisfy their fans with a win against the sporting nemesis. The rivalry between the historic Liverpool FC and Manchester United goes back many years and is still one of the most awaited fixtures for respective supporters.

Transfer news suggests that Liverpool are looking at various options to strengthen their squad. Apparently the Club is interested in signing players like Raphinha from Leeds United, Jeremy Doku currently playing for Rennes in France and, Renato Sanches from the French club Lille.

After waiting for over thirty years to win the EPL title, Liverpool managed to end the sporting drought a few years ago. The Kop as their supporters are known, with their chanting mantra “You’ll Never Walk Alone” hope that they wait for another EPL title to come sooner rather than later. Shall we start betting on the latter? As the football season and the EPL progresses, we still have a long way to go to make it to the very end of the tunnel. Top ranked teams like Liverpool are also tempting their luck at the Champions League games weekly; so, will this impact the overall performance of the club? We beg to differ, as the Reds vow to work the crowd, the masses and Anfield with songs of victory. If there is one team that gets close to the EPL title and somehow almost always misses out, it has to be Liverpool FC. Will this season be their best season, will they be able to win it all and grant us football betting wins? Let’s get betting, shall we?
