Liverpool F.C. Best Players 2021/22

Liverpool is a football club with great history and some of the top players. This team was the top contender to win the Premier League, but some of the players were injured which has brought some setbacks for the team. They have lost their three of their top center-backs which dropped their performance, but they have still managed to display tremendous grit and perseverance by going undefeated in their last ten matches and have made their way to the top four of the Champions League.

Liverpool still holds some of the greatest players in Europe and they are still going strong in the Premier League. If you’d like to test your football knowledge and luck on your favorite team, you can easily make some bets online and still show your devotion to Liverpool. Also, let’s take a look at their best players that are promising success.

Fabinho

Fabinho is probably Liverpool’s most outstanding player of this season. He has put up amazing displays in his center defense position whenever he was needed. And even though he had been injured before the team’s last 10 game undefeated run in the league, he nearly single-handedly reinforced the club’s great score of the season.

Fabinho has great understanding of the play and he made this into his valuable asset whether he is shielding the back four or being in the middle of it. He has definitely proven to be one of the greatest acquisitions of the team and he has excelled this season by assisting young defenders in their transition to playing in the fast line.

Diogo Jota

Diogo Jota joined Liverpool from the Wolves and he has enjoyed a fantastic first season so far. Nobody anticipated for this fresh talent in the team to have such a great impact on his first season but despite that he truly shone.

He has scored 13 goals in 30 games in his first season performance and he has already recovered from a long-term injury. Definitely, Jota showed how deadly he can be and how he might be a top-tier defense for the next season.

Andy Robertson

Andy Robertson is one of just two players who didn’t miss a game due to an injury or sickness this season and he started 51 times at left-back. Even though he has a total of 7 assists which is one of his lowest since his debut season on Merseyside, the Red’s season could’ve been a lot tougher if he had been ruled out for a longer period of time. Luckily, Roberson has demonstrated his worth in every encounter of Liverpool’s season and he is truly everything Klopp needs from a player now.

Jordan Henderson

Even though Henderson missed the final three months of the season, he has been crowned Liverpool’s best player for the season 2020/21. He ended his season due to an injury and prior to that he was a standout performer who admirably led his team. His absence has been noted and everyone misses the presence of Liverpool’s captain both on the pitch and in the dressing room. And without him in the midfield, the Reds seem to have become disorganized.

Mohamed Salah

Salah was Liverpool’s standout player through this season and he scored 31 goals in 51 appearances. He finished second to Harry Kane in the Premier League Golden Boot competition. His brilliance on the field and tireless efficiency made him the most appreciated player and the highlight in the Liverpool ranks, and he has established himself as one of the world’s finest strikers.

Liverpool is a great team filled with some of the best players and thrilling history. You can still watch upcoming matches in the Premier League and support your favorite team.
