Alisson Becker 7
Got away with one poor clearance first half. Good save after break from Jota after Van Dijk mistake.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 7
Deliveries on point first half even if some of his passing wasn't, which improved after the break. Defensively not overly pressed until final quarter and stood up well.

Joe Gomez 8
Too strong for Neto on several occasions and initiated attacks out of defence. Used the ball well and maintained his cool.

Virgil van Dijk 7
As is often the case, the game was kept away from him first half. Composed in possession, but rare error allowed Jota in.

Andy Robertson 6
Not as many opportunities to bomb on with Wolves packing the defence. Hands full second half with Traore, and had minor wobble in closing moments.

Jordan Henderson 7
Always eager to build momentum, which wasn't easy against such well organised opposition. Didn't stop probing after the break.

Gini Wijnaldum 7
Hit a good opening over from a corner and excellent energy saw him closing gaps in midfield. Stepped it up further second half before being subbed.

Adam Lallana 7
On the right of midfield, heavily involved in the opening exchanges. Found some spaces but held on to ball too long at times, but such a good run and lay-off for the opener. Tired after the hour and subbed. Booked.

Roberto Firmino 6
Saw shot deflected through to Patricio before, playing in the number 10 role, began linking well first half. Over with one second-half shot. Subbed.

Sadio Mane 8
Fine header set up Salah volley, and consistently bothered Wolves with his direct running. One shot deflected wide before break. Finished well for his goal.

Mohamed Salah 6
Too high with decent early chance and good break lead to opening for Firmino. Volleyed at Patricio first half. Didn't stop working but didn't get much protection from referee Taylor.

Naby Keita (for Lallana 67) 7
Instantly began finding space in between the lines as Wolves sought an equaliser.

James Milner (for Wijnaldum 86)
Brought solidity to the midfield.

Divock Origi (for Firmino 86)
Ran a bit.
