Good save early on to deny Wood. Some decent distribution. Otherwise unemployed until stopping Rodriguez late on.
Trent Alexander-Arnold 7
Made one vital clearance underneath his own posts before his intended cross floated in off Wood for the opener. They all count. Defended well.
Joel Matip 8
Wasn't having any of it from Barnes, showing good strength in one tussle. Refused to be bowed as Burnley mustered a slight comeback in final quarter.
Virgil van Dijk 9
Dominated Wood in the air, constantly beating the striker to possession. So many Burnley balls into the box were nodded away by the Dutchman. A good week for him.
Andy Robertson 7
Found a lot of space down the left on occasion and regularly offered an overlap. Positioning ensured he was defensively untroubled.
Penalised a couple of times a bit harshly by the referee, he provided good cover for the second balls, of which there were many. Steady after the break.
Jordan Henderson 7
On the right of the midfield three, good energy and one fine pass to Salah but too many crosses overhit first half. Industrious as ever after the break. Took a knock and was subbed shortly afterwards.
Gini Wijnaldum 7
Got through lots of work but didn't quite affect the game as much as he wanted in the final third. Did his bit when required, though.
Mohamed Salah 7
Struck the post with an early effort and unlucky when Pope deflected a clearance against him but wide. Should have passed to Firmino second half when in good position, but assisted the Brazilian's late goal.
Roberto Firmino 9
Plenty of joy when dropping into the midfield area, and intercepted Mee's pass to set up the second. Then set up and finished the third. Great stuff. Deserved his ovation on being replaced.
Sadio Mane 7
Not much hope when asked to compete for long balls early on but grew into game when possession on the deck and took Liverpool's second well. Didn't seem happy after being subbed though.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (for Henderson 71) 7
Had one shot at Pope.
Divock Origi (for Mane 85)
Xherdan Shaqiri (for Firmino 85)
Similar time on the pitch.
