Sammy Shields signs for Liverpool
Cowdenbeath last night transferred young inside right Sammy Shields to Liverpool. Shields has been two seasons at Central Park, and has also appeared at outside right and centre.
He is due to be demobbed from the Army on May 18. During his service with the H.L.I. He has taken part in several representative army games.
Shields is 20, stands 5 feet 9½ inches, and weighs 11 stone. He is a product of Dunipace Juniors.
