Whilst Patrik Berger may have ousted Jamie Redknapp in the 'heart-throb' stakes among Liverpool's female followers, he still hasn't lost the affection of another contingent of the fans. The Gay Football Supporter's Network have voted the part-time model and, currently, part-time midfielder the most fanciable footballer of the 1995/96 season. At their Annual General meeting in King's Cross, London, they placed him marginally ahead of Lee Sharpe and Alan Shearer in the poll.
