A local lad from Maghull, Connor Randall joined Liverpool at the age of eight and rose through the ranks to become captain of the Under 8's. In 2013 he was promoted to the Under 21 set up and made his first Reds appearance towards the end of that season in a friendly against Shamrock Rovers. An attacking right back, he had brief loan spell with Shrewsbury Town in February 2015 but made just one substitute appearance. On 17th September 2015 he made his inaugural appearance in the first team squad, being an unused substitute against Bordeaux in the Europa League. The promising right-back made his competitive debut for the first team in the League Cup 4th round clash against Bournemouth on Anfield on 28 October 2015. The following December he signed a contract extension and made his first Premier League appearance against Bournemouth in April 2016. He made two more appearances before the end of the season as Jurgen Klopp rested key players as the Reds closed in on the Europa League final.
In 2016-17 Randall was limited to just one FA Cup appearance and spent the following season on loan with Hearts, where he played 24 Scottish Premiership games. On 23rd August 2018 he was loaned to League One side Rochdale for the season. However a fractured cheekbone sustained in a Football League Trophy tie limited his appearances to just three and he returned to Liverpool in January 2019. After seven Premier League 2 appearances, it was no surprise on 7th June 2019 when the club confirmed he was to be released. After failing to find another English club, on 12th September Randall signed a two year deal with Bulgarian side Arda Kardzhali, newly promoted to the top flight. He remained there for one season and returned to Scotland in June 2020, joining Ross County.
Randall's first season with Ross County started promisingly but from October he rarely featured due to a back problem. 2021/22 was far better for him and he made 29 appearances and was equally comfortable in both full back positions. Early in the following season he suffered a broken leg but was straight back into the team when he made a full recovery by December. In 2023/24 he was mainly used in midfield, helping the Highlands side avoid relegation with play off victory over Raith Rovers. Randall was made club captain for 2024/25 but the season ended in disappointment when they were relegated after losing a play off to Livingston. Four games into the 2025/26 season, with Ross struggling near the foot of the Championship, Randall was relieved of the captaincy but praised by his manager Tony Docherty for the way in which he accepted the decision.
