    Opposition
Lineup: Macho (captain), Demai, Hajnal, Schonheim, Ouattara, Muller, Bellinghausen, Rihilarti, Reinert, Daham, Pavlovic.

*The bizarre nature of the game really came out though on seventy six minutes when Pepe Reina came on. It wasn't Dudek he replaced though as Reina slotted into midfield in place of Fabio Aurelio. The Brazilian went off injured and with Garcia having also gone off the Reds were actually down to ten men - one of whom was a goalkeeper in midfield. The numbers were evened up again shortly after though as Robbie Fowler came back out in his kit again for Garcia. Pepe Reina actually could have won the game for the Reds on eighty six minutes when he had a great ball squared to him by Bellamy but he proved his worth in stopping the ball getting in the net by skewing it wide.
