Premier League Clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool Are Using Missile-Tracking Tech

So it turns out that football is in fact, rocket science. Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal are now using missile-tracking technology so that they can plot every move a player is going to make. This mind-boggling high-tech data is going to mean war. The optical tracking is a huge step forward in the game and it would seem that it has in fact been designed by the military as well. Liverpool’s own data scientists have developed an equation which basically helps them to rate the overall quality of every decision they make. This is going to be done for every single pass but right now it would seem that computers are not big enough to be able to calculate much more than this.

The Rise of Tech

Of course, football has undergone a huge change as the result of tech. At one point, it was not possible for you to bet online at all, and if you wanted to watch a football game you had to buy a ticket and go to the stadium. Eventually, radio launched and this made it possible for people to listen to the games at home. It wasn’t long before sites such as Casumo Betting launched and this paved the way for a revolution. People could bet at home, watch games on television and even stream games to their phones. This technology built the foundation for the tech that we are seeing today, and it has made the game that bit more exciting too.

We Live in a Sophisticated World

We live in a super sophisticated world right now and this is one of the many reasons why the boss of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has gone and declared that his side only actually has a 3% chance of losing to the Burnley team. This is of course, after the Clarets managed to mug them 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium back in December. At the end of the day, this is incredible and it would seem that Chris Cushion thinks the same. Chris Cushion is a UEFA coach and he has advised the FA in the past.

Everything is Measured

Optical tracking was once used to track missiles. It was used to try and pinpoint the position of a player and it could do this up to 25 times every second. This would be done in relation to the ball as well as being done in relation to the teammates as well as the opposition. It gives people the chance to have a detailed analysis and it also shows the picture of what is happening during the game. They are not looking at the numbers though. High-tech analysis and even preparation did not stop the famous Gabriel Jesus from being able to score completely unmarked in the 6-yard box. This was done with just under two minutes to go. At the end of the day, there are much more advanced concepts that are to be taken into account, such as pitch control and even off-court scoring.
