Notes

  • - William Hughes makes his LFC debut
  • - McBride didn't feature as he "failed to carry out the instructions of the committee, an error severly to be condemned at such a critical time of the football year."
    - Liverpool Mercury says David Henderson scored the fourth goal: "eventually Henderson by a single handed effort added a fourth point to Liverpool's credit." Liverpool Daily Post however claims Bradshaw scored: "The home players, however, always had the whip head, Bradshaw scoring the only goal in this half." LFChistory.net trusts LDP's reporting better when there's just one paper opposing it Bradshaw as in Eric Doig's book is credited with this goal.
