- Steven Gerrard is now 6th in LFC's All time top goalscorers list with 173 goals as he overtakes King Kenny.
- Gerrard and Jan Mølby have scored 42 penalties, more than any other in the club's history. Mølby scored 42 from 45 attempts but Gerrard needed 51 kicks to reach his total.
- Gerrard's two penalties took his total for the season to 11. The Premier League record for penalties converted in a single season is held by Andy Johnson at Crystal Palace in 2004-05.
