    Kevin Keegan was sent off for fighting in the first half. The club claimed it was mistaken identity and that Peter Cormack had been involved (the two players were of similar height, build and had the same hairstyle). Cormack didn't have as high a profile as Keegan so the club didn't want too much publicity about this incident. Years afterwards Keegan admitted that it HAD been him who had thrown the punch!
