Trent Kone-Doherty completed a move from Liverpool to Molde in Norway on 27 February 2026 for £660,000. The transfer is understood to include standard future protections for Liverpool, such as sell-on or performance-related clauses. Liverpool's Under-21 head coach, Rob Page, said on the departure of Kone-Doherty: "We've lost a good player. In this job, you're in it to develop players. He's decided to move on. We wanted to keep him. There was an offer of a contract. So, disappointed to see him go, but that's life. That's development football."
