Player Profile
The inside-left couldn't have started his Liverpool career better when he scored in the second minute of his debut against Everton in the first home game of the season on 14 September 1901. According to the Liverpool Courier Raisbeck passed the ball to Bowen who "dashed along the wing. He finished with a beautiful centre. The ball flashed past McGuigan and Raybould, but White received it, and slammed the leather into the net - a beautiful goal." White played six times during the 1901/02 season, which Liverpool finished disappointingly in eleventh place after winning their first Football League Championship the previous year. Once his football career was over he became a miner in Broxburn.
