Player profile
Sambrook was a forward who deputised twice for regular centre-forward Dick Johnson in the middle of the 1922/23 first division season. On both occasions Chelsea were Liverpool's opponents, with the Reds sharing the points after a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge on 30 December 1922 before winning 1-0 at Anfield a week later.
