Player Profile

Forward Salisbury was at Anfield for a single season towards the end of the 1920's. He was brought into the team for the trip to Arsenal on 27 October 1928 but didn't figure on the scoresheet in a 4-4 draw. However, he had more fortune in his second away match for the club, when his second-half strike was the only goal of the game at Portsmouth. Salisbury's only other goal in the 16 first division games he played for Liverpool came in the 8-0 trouncing of Burnley at Anfield on Boxing Day, 1928. He also scored in the only FA cup-tie he was selected for, a third round win at Bristol City.
