Player Profile

A full-back, who played on both flanks for Liverpool. Parr signed for Liverpool in May 1948 but didn’t make his first-team debut until the opening day of the 1951/52 season. He never seriously threatened Bill Jones, Eddie Spicer or Ray Lambert who were all preferred to Parr in his time at Liverpool. Parr moved to Exeter after being released by Liverpool in 1955 but returned to the North-West at the end of 1956 to end his league playing days at Rochdale.
