Liverpool-born George Henry Kaye was more commonly known as Harry. He made over 150 wartime appearances for Liverpool and played his solitary league game for Liverpool as a wing-half in the 3-2 defeat by Blackpool at Anfield on 5 April 1947. He was transferred to third division south's Swindon Town in May 1947, for whom he made 189 league and cup appearances, scoring five goals.
