Player Profile

Green made seven League appearances for the club as an inside-forward during 1901/02 and 1902/03. His only goal for Liverpool was scored in the second minute of his final match for the club, away to Blackburn Rovers on 3 January 1903. Despite his early strike, Liverpool went down 3-1. Green was a success at Stockport County where he scored 16 goals in 23 appearances in the 1904/05 season in the Midland League and made 61 appearances and scored 12 goals from 1907-1909 in the Second Division.
