Player Profile
Grayer was the last of the 27 men Liverpool used during the 1913/14 league season. He was picked as a replacement for regular right-back Ephraim Longworth for match 36 of a 38-game campaign at home to Manchester United on 15 April 1914. United won the game 2-1 and it was Grayer's only selection for Liverpool's first team. Grayer was so badly wounded during the war at Ypres that he never played football again.
