Player Profile
The 5 ft. 10 in. (178 cm.) goalkeeper with the strange-sounding name made 16 appearances for Liverpool during the 1909/10 and 1910/11 seasons. He made his debut away to Woolwich Arsenal two days after Christmas in 1909. Beeby got a chance due to Sam Hardy's damaged wrist at the start of the following season as well as for a second spell during November and December when Hardy was out again. Unfortunately for him Liverpool were going through a rather lean spell and he kept one clean sheet as Liverpool lost seven out of the 11 games in which he featured in 1910/11.
