Player Profile

Bolder was Wednesday's main goalkeeper for six years, playing over 200 games before joining Liverpool. Grobbelaar's success in goal kept him firmly out of the picture. Bolder joined Sunderland on a month's loan with a view for a permanent move, the same day as Alan Kennedy left for Roker Park on 20 September 1985. Bolder became a firm favourite at Charlton and played just under 300 games for the Addicks.
