Player Profile
Young player from Australia who was on the books of Sidney Olympic when he was brought over to England in face of competition of other major clubs. He never fulfilled his potential at Liverpool and after four unused substitute appearances was sold to Terry Venables' Crystal Palace, then moved to the lower leagues of Italy. He played 63 League games for Milton Keynes Dons from 2004-2007. After being loaned out to Grimsby and Chesterfield, he joined Perth Glory in his homeland in 2007 and has since played also for Central Coast Mariners, Sydney Tigers and APIA Leichhardt Tigers in Australia. Rizzo played his only international for the Socceroos who lost 7-0 to Croatia in a friendly on 6 June 1998. After finishing playing he set up a academy in New South Wales for 5 to 15 year old players.
