Forward Kewley made one substitute appearance in six years at Liverpool, against Middlesbrough at Anfield before leaving for good for USA side Dallas Tornado where he had been on loan from Liverpool for two consecutive summers. Kewley featured for Tornado until 1979 before going into the Major Indoor Soccer League with Wichita Wings until 1989. After finishing playing he remained settled in the Wichita, in the US state of Kansas where he has been involved in college coaching..
