The Northern Irish midfielder joined the Reds from Manchester United at U-14 level. He scored in every other game in the U-18s Premier League in the 2023/24 season, 11 goals in total. Morrison who has been compared with Curtis Jones, has been a mainstay of the U-21s in the 2024/25 campaign and his progress was rewarded with a place on the bench in Liverpool's final group stage versus PSV in the Champions League on 29 January 2025. 

Morrison made his first-team breakthrough during the 2025/26 season, making one substitute appearance for Liverpool in a 3-1 win at Wolves on 6 March 2026. He was also named among the substitutes on 13 further occasions without being called upon, underlining that he was increasingly being considered part of the senior squad despite limited opportunities on the pitch. Away from the first team, Morrison enjoyed an outstanding campaign at academy level, scoring 14 goals in 18 Premier League 2 appearances. The attacking midfielder impressed with his creativity, technical ability and eye for goal, establishing himself as one of the standout performers in Liverpool's youth setup.
