Player Profile

After graduating from the Academy right-back Smith made his debut for Liverpool against Reading in the third round of the League Cup in October 2006, although this turned out to be his only appearance for the Reds. Smith left on a free to Stockport County in December 2007 after a successful loan spell. Stockport won the League Two play-offs in his debut season, but he rejected their contract offer and featured for Vauxhall for a short spell before joining Altrincham in November 2008 where he stayed three seasons. Smith moved to Southport in the Blue Square Premier League in July 2011 and was appointed the club's vice-captain in the summer of 2012. In March 2014 he was loaned to AFC Telford for the remainder of that season, playing once. After that he seemed to drift out of the game.
