Tom HIll is a box-to-box midfielder who was at Liverpool since U-6 level until January 2025 He made his full-team debut for Liverpool in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup against Aston Villa on 17 December 2019. In October 2020 he signed a long-term deal on turning eighteen, however he had to remain on the sidelines undergoing rehabilitation for 2020/21 after knee surgery. Hill returned to full fitness by the end of the following season and was included in the squad for the pre-season tour of Asia.

During 2022/23 Hill was only restricted to six substitute appearances for the under 21's. The following season he scored three times in eighteen appearances in Premier League 2 and also made his Wales under 21 debut. The closest he came to the first team was as an unused substitute for a Europa League group stage game. In January 2025 Hill joined League Two side Harrogate Town for an undisclosed fee. Over the next 18 months, Hill struggled to establish himself there, playing only eight times in 2025/26 when Harrogate were relegated to the National League. Although his contract had expired, he was invited to train with Harrogate pre-season with a view to a new deal. However, after a short trial with Oldham Athletic, which included scoring in a friendly with Sheffield Wednesday, he was signed by the League Two club.
