Fernando Torres heads Liverpool FC fifty goal marksmen

FERNANDO TORRES' winning goal in last night's Villa Park clash saw him become the fastest Liverpool player ever to hit 50 league goals.

The Spanish hitman got to the half century mark in just 72 appearances, a strike-rate that leaves him well clear of Sam Raybould and Albert Stubbins, both of whom reached the landmark after 80 matches.
