  • - Jack Balmer scores a hat-trick for the third game in a row, a unique feat in Liverpool's history. He scored three against Portsmouth on 9th November, four goals in 17 minutes against Derby County a week later and finally three against Arsenal. He became the third player in the Football League's top division to achieve that feat after Frank Osborne (Tottenham) in 1925 and Tom Jennings (Leeds) in 1926.
