The abandoned match on 8th January

Notes

  • - The same fixture had been abandoned on the 8th January. During the first half, one of the floodlight pylons failed, leaving a large section of the pitch in insufficient light. The referee stopped the match after about 30 minutes because visibility was inadequate for safe play. The match had kicked off as scheduled, but conditions were already very poor due to heavy rain.
    - Fowler broke his ankle and was out for seven weeks.
