  • - Kevin Moran breaks Kenny Dalglish‘s cheek-bone in a reckless aerial challenge. Dalglish was 8 weeks out following this horror challenge. Moran was wearing a support brace on his wrist which caught Dalglish full in the face. Moran went unpunished despite Liverpool’s claims that Moran set out to injure Dalglish. Moran himself received a bad cut to his head. Joe Fagan had to restrain Graeme Souness as the skipper confronted Moran.
