Player profile
Local Bryan Williams showed his versatility when the defender, who had made nine appearances for the club in three years, played 25 games in two years, mostly as an inside-left. Williams was a regular for third division north Crewe Alexandra for a number of seasons, playing nearly five times as many League matches for the Cheshire club as he did for Liverpool. Williams had a rocket-launch of a throw which he became known for and was an excellent swimmer and sprinter.
