Player Profile

A forward who made six first division appearances for Liverpool plus two in the FA Cup during the 1897/98 season. Lumsden scored twice and created one on his debut in a 3-2 away win at Nottingham Forest on 27 November 1897. After failing to link up in the centre with outside-left Thomas Bradshaw in the following game, which was a 2-1 defeat to Wolves, Lumsden was moved to the left flank where he stayed for a few games, never to appear on the scoresheet again.
