Player Profile

"Kelvin, who will play outside, is a second Geary, having the speed of a deer and dogged persistency to score," claimed Field Sport in 1892. His greatest achievement at Kilmarnock was scoring five goals in the club's 7-1 win over Hurlford in the 1891 Ayrshire Cup Final. Outside-left Kelvin only played four games for Liverpool in the Lancashire league and two in the FA Cup in the 1892/93 season. He has mistakenly been referred to as Arthur in many sources but his first name was Andrew.

Kelvin died in his native Kilmarnock in 1911 at the age of 42.
