Player profile
Liverpool-born Jones made just a single appearance for Liverpool on 5 September 1953 when the Reds played host to Preston North End in what turned out to be a disastrous season which culminated in relegation from the First Division. Preston won 5-1 with Liverpool’s only goal coming from Harold’s namesake Bill.
