Player profile

Harrington made four appearances in Liverpool's forward-line during the 1920/21 season. He was picked for three consecutive matches in February 1921 against Manchester United (twice) and Bradford City and the last one was when Tottenham Hotspur visited Anfield on 25 March 1921. The winger later made 48 appearances and scored seven goals in Third Division North for Wigan Borough, Southport and Crewe Alexandra. On 28 July 1928 he headed for New York to play for the Giants along with another former Red David McMullan.
