Player profile
The only time Griffiths figured in the 1905/06 season was as replacement for regular right-back Alf West at Sheffield Wednesday on 14 October 1905, the only one of the 38 first division fixtures that West missed that season. Griffiths was called on four times in 1906/07, this time as a left-back and made his sixth and final appearance for the first team in a 3-0 defeat at Preston on 21 March 1908. He later played with former Liverpool players Alex Raisbeck and Maurice Parry at Partick Thistle in Scotland.
